As a partner in Explore Asia, LLC, Dr. Harkrider is responsible for value-added services for the
company's tourism customers, alliances and partners
With 25 years' experience as a facilitator/coach and as executive producer of over 40
media-based learning initiatives, her American and Asian clients include MNCs, health
maintenance organizations, universities and government agencies. Acknowledged as an expert
in translating leading-edge research on learning behavior to practical, performance-based
applications, she brings both broad and specific domain expertise to Explore Asia's consulting
services.
Dr. Harkrider is a frequent speaker at conferences in Asia and the U.S. Her commitment for
finding ways to increase people's learning culminated in a doctoral research that investigated
the advantages of online communication as an environment for coaching professionals. She
was the first American to complete a PhD from Nanyang Technological University, Singapore.
She continues her relationship with Singapore as a senior advisor and project manager for KDI
Asia, an organizational development consultancy with clients across Southeast Asia.
