Carbon Offsetting: Still Viable

It's a Painless, Easy Option for the Environmentally Conscious

Wading into the pros and cons of carbon offsetting is on my agenda.

But the bottom line is that if you choose a reputable carbon offset provider, it’s a viable first step to addressing the trillon ton gorilla called climate change.

Your flight can be the most polluting aspect of your travel. Your round trip flight for example from Seattle to Bangkok releases 3.312 lbs/per passenger of C02, which is a main contributor to global warming.

The total cost for offsetting one round trip ticket to Asia is $119.23.

Carbon offsets are an easy and inexpensive way to minimize your travel footprint. Here is a link to Sustainable Travel International, our recommendation for taking advantage of this program https://sustainable https://sustainabletravelinternational.org/documents/op_carboncalcs.html

Don’t leave home without it!
