A Boomer Living Well and Doing Good

I marched for civil rights in the South. I wore tie dye and, with two organically-feed toddlers on my hips, grooved to Joplin and the Stones. I protested the Vietnam War and was a founder of Oregon’s first recycling center.

Yep, I was a middle class, tax paying New Ager.

Now I am a part of the boomer tidal wave. Kids in Asia call me Auntie Nancy and four precious little ones call me Nana. Some people call me crazy for running a business and volunteering for the planet.

If this is crazy, I prefer it to playing golf or clipping recipes.

And the picture? My granddaughter dared me to wear her plush puppy on my head while we went to dinner and a movie. I took her up on her dare, which I guess just confirms my particular brand of crazy.

I’ll drink some goji juice to that!
